Breeding Policy

Why we work with a waiting list..

Our waiting lists serve an important purpose; They allow us to ensure that our pups go to the best possible homes. We know our breed inside out, including the type of care they need and the personalities and lifestyles they suit. Our number-one goal is finding the right pet parent for each and every pup. Putting together a waiting list allows us to find dog lovers who are willing to wait and get ready for their ideal dog. We don't have puppies sitting around all year, we breed selected and with quality. Our pups are worth the wait!

So when should you start contacting?

The answer is, when you are thinking about getting a dog, not when you are ready. This can be 3-12 months before you are ready to bring home a puppy.

This gives perspective owners time to research the breeds they think may suit their family and needs. Of course we are also able to answer all your questions about the Border collie breed & character, health test for any genetic pre-deposed issues such as; hip dysplasia, progressive retinal atrophy etc. All our pups are from well bred, tested and working parents. We know our dogs since generations.

We can take into account your preferences. A puppy that has certain features or characteristics — for example, you may want a pup of a particular color, or have a preference for a male or female puppy. To reserve a spot on our waiting list, we charge a € 300,- deposit, which will be deducted from the purchase price.

What happens if my circumstances change?

Sometimes life gets in the way of your best-laid plans to get a puppy. Maybe you’ve been transferred for work, maybe you’ve changed your mind about the right breed for you, or maybe you’ve decided that now is simply not the right time for you to get a pup.

If this happens, just let us know what’s going on.

Our main focus is on finding the right home for our pups, so with an open communication we have all the chances to solve any obstacles along the way.
